As of today at 1 pm many Harveys stores have closed. The rest of the stores will close May 10th. I’m going to guess that most of you affected already know this… but if not I would head to the store today. Many locations are going to reopen within 10 days after closing as a new store. Some will be Winn Dixie, Food World, Piggly Wiggly and who knows what else…
If you are curious what happened, almost a year ago Bi-Lo bought Harveys, and Sweetbay stores. It took a long time for the sale to clear through the FTC. Now they are good to go and officially merging.
Let me go ahead and answer your next question. As of right now I have no plans to add Food World or Piggly Wiggly to Southern Savers. Both are super small and run individual sales by store, meaning that any list I made would just make you frustrated with deals not common at all stores.
